1. Discuss how a CIO might handle Schrage's scenarios using the
suggested process for ethical decision making presented in this chapter.
The CIO might handle Schrage scenarios by using this method of right ethical decision making or it can be developing the customer relation management. They Should develop a good problem statement that can lead them into there actions i mean in order for them to come up a good decisions.
2. Discuss the possible short-term losses and long-term gains in implementing ethical solutions for each of Schrage’s scenarios.
There are some readers argued that CIOs must consider a company's long-term needs rather than just the current needs of a specific project and others argued that engaging in unethical behavior even for the best of purposes, crosses a line that eventually leads to more serious transgressions.
3. Must business choose between good ethics and financial benefits? Explain your answer using Schrage’s scenarios as examples.
For me I think No, business must not choose between good ethics and financial benefits instead having this two kinds of characteristics in important into business. As what i have understand in Schrage scenarios they plan to outsource its maintenance and support the customer relation management system once it is develop, in this kind of plan good ethics and financial benefit is needed.
